Framed and hung!!
Sorry for the glare on this one...that is the one problem with glass...
Well, BoInk is truly complete as of 8:30 this morning!! I was able to find a frame at AC Moore that was a perfect match for the cat corners and it was on SALE to boot!! So other than having to buy a gizmo to put the points in the back to hold the piece in, it only cost me $20 to frame this piece. I had taken it to AC Moore to have it "professionally" framed and even with the 50% off coupon I had it was going to cost well over $200 to frame this with NO MAT... I should see if they need framers at AC Moore or Michaels or JoAnn's ETC because I seem to be framing more and more of my own pieces and think I do a great job (if I do say so myself!! LOL)
I've also been working like crazy on Blackstone Fantasy Garden. I've finished the inner work of the center knot (pinky colored one) and now working on the outer knots (the ones in green/purples). I've still kept to my word of not working on the blackwork until I've completed the cross-stitching knots...
This first one shows the "pink" knot almost complete...
This one is showing the "pink" knot complete and one of the three "green/purple" knots complete...
Thanks for looking...

Oh Jackie, it is beautiful! What a great job you did with the framing. You should be really proud of yourself.
BFG is coming along nicely too. I would not have the patience to finish the knots, keep going you are nearly there.
Jackie,
It's a handsome piece finished, and it looks wonderful framed!
Remy
Good progress on BFG. Boink looks great framed. I actually went to evening classes to learn picture framing so that it would be easier and cheaper to frame my stitching
Your BoInk is gorgeous and you did a wonderful job framing it! I am looking forward to seeing your finish on Blackstone. That is one I am thinking about picking up myself. :)
That is amazing! I think I will try to frame some things myself again. You did a terrific job and that has to be a record time from a finish to a frame!
this turned out beautifully! And you're right...the frame is perfect. Great work!
A great finish and the frame makes it perfect all over....
Jackie...what can I add to what the others have already said? Boink is just magnificent and your framing is outstanding! Congratulations on your beautiful finish.
You have really accomplished a lot on BFG since the last time I saw. I will be looking forward to seeing more pictures of BFG and your progession :o)

Jackie - I agree with all the comments before me - your BoINK is beautiful and looks gorgeous framed. You did an awesome job stitching it - and the patience to keep it going, following the dates of each section posted on the BoINK website; give yourself some well deserved pats on the back!
Jackie,
Congrats on a beautiful frame job! You did so well! It looks like it was done by a pro (well, you are a pro, right?!). Balckstone Fantasy Garden is coming along quite well. I love it. Congrats on the progress. You must be thrilled!
Boink is gorgeous! Good progress on BFG.
Hugs
Looks great! You did an awesome job framing. I would have dropped over dead if they told me $200!! Maybe I'll send mine to you?!?! lol can't wait to see BFG when that's complete :)

Your BoINK turned out great and you did an awesome job of framing it yourself.
